Buddha Bless Want to Lessen the Sadness…

Our (at least mine) favorite dancehall reggae boys Buddha Bless are back (and bald) with another brand new single! When Gaotong mentioned earlier that they were working on a new song and that it would be a slower number, I expected another mellow reggae hit from them like their past “Talay” and “Jon Jon.”
But when “งดเศร้าเข้าพรรษา / Ngot Sao Kao Pun Sah (Lessen the Sadness When Lent Begins)” finally was released, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was an easy-listen bossa style! …Electric bossa! Bossa with a Buddha Bless touch! Awesomeee~
And then, shortly after, Gaotong suddenly popped up completely shaved! I was amused, but for some reason, it never occurred to me to equate his sudden change in hair styles with this song. …Until the music video came out! Then it hit me! And I felt so stupid I never realized it before hahaha~ In fact, it wasn’t only Gaotong, but all three of them! How many other groups would ACTUALLY go through shaving themselves completely bald for a song? Buddha Bless are so genuine!! Now that’s dedication!!
So yes, nice chill song, awesome MV with Buddha Bless’s usual craziness and humor, what more can you ask for?

Though it’s a little weird to see them straying a bit from their respective colors, Buddha Bless are still 100% Buddha Bless 
I love how Gui like had to be forced into the chair haha, I wonder if he misses his hair the most. Ohhh my silly boys~ At least they’ll be a little cooler in the summer?
And somebody tell me I’m not going crazy, that Gaotong looks so much like Cuban reggaeton singer Pitbull in that top picture? ahaha

i love love love the song! and the MV is so fitting with the song.
i love how buddha bless aways has a good message to send out. just from look and sound you wouldn’t think they would but once you listen to the lyrics its like wow they are really teaching something good. major props for that
and yeaaa i’m still quite disturbed by the fact that they aren’t wearing their normal colors (except for my wonderfully sexy voice gohm half the time) but yea major dedication on their part to shave their heads but i do think gooey was probably crying the most and that the scene where they were forcing him probably wasn’t too much acting haha
when i saw that they were getting their heads shaved, i was shocked, literally hand over mouth.
BUT then i started getting teary eyed. then i wondered, why? i wasn’t sad for them, but i was IMPRESSED and SO PROUD of the boys.
i mean, as i was watching the guy hold Gooey down to the chair, i was soooo touched by the boys’ effort to make a great mv.
come on, how many artists would shave their hair for a mv??? huh? huh? huh!? britney spears doesn’t count. (i still love you brit).
but, i just advanced to another level of respect for these boys. i mean, they ALL shaved their hair = team work. (i dare someone to ask the B.O.Y boys to do that!) anyways. i think that was a big step. maybe for boys it’s nothing, but being a girl, it would take a whole lot of coercion for me to go that far. i think.
i like the mv. the colors are really bright. i especially like the chick with Gooey, her wig is hot! i was like :O heck nah! it’s coo!!!!
the song took me a little while to get use to, but eventually it flowed well into my ears. i was expecting a ‘fast paced’, ‘blow you out of this world’ song, but this one will do too.
like the fact states, no BB song is bad. er’song they do is a joy to listen to. and their mvs always speak louder too.
