Ice’s Variety of Flavors

Posted by rukdara

I’M BACKKKKKKKKKK!! for those that dont know i ran off for a week to go to thailand so that i could go and watch Ice Sarunyu’s FIRST EVER big solo concert. crazy i may be but hey i gotta support this boy in everyway that i can. and boy was the concert AMAZING. anyone who has seen Ice perform would know one of two things… hes sings GREAT live and he knows how to entertain. and a third thing…. no matter what he gives 10000000% no different from the Peck Aof Ice We R One Concert, Ice was again sick and was losing his voice prior to the concert from all his practicing and his determination to sing all his songs live. i was worried for him as i always am, but true to form Ice put on a rocking concert that was a variety in every sense of the word, the fans, the dancing, the singing, the performances, the guests… the title of his concert, Ruammit Sai Namkang (variety mix with ice) Variety Live Concert by Ice Sarunyu, was not misleading in anyway.

the concert began with a medley of dance songs beginning with I.See.U before Ice stopped to greet the crowd. but rather than slow it down he turned it up with more fast beat songs such as his cover of P’Birds Bok Wah Yah Naruk and then showed off his new dance moves with Chorb Kon Jao Choo and then Yah Len Tua which featured Pinky…. who looked very hot in her barely there outfit and was an excellent dancer.

next Ice came out in a completely new style doing a cover of a Golf Mike song in which half way through the song the duo i absolutely cannot stand joined him and the three showed off their dancing skills and drove the girls insane. after an intense first half Ice slowed it down a talk show skit with the funny Kalamare. this part was insanely hilarious for anyone who understands thai in the true sense and can follow all the inside jokes and plays on words. at one point i thought that the concert should have received an R rating for some of their content but the two going at it literally brought the audience to tears from laughing so hard. the talk show then led into a surprising yet not so surprising look toong performance by Ice. it was so elaborate and very look toong in every sense of the word

Ice then slowed the concert down with the most beautiful performance of Kon Naah Song Saan EVEEERRRRRR!!! nothing but a spotlight, a keyboard, and a cello and Ice in a grey suit…. this version literally left me speechless.

and true to form Ice was moved to tears as he soaked up the entire concert and cried as he thanked everyone and talked about how amazing it was to him that he was actually having his own concert, he then followed it up with a medley of slow songs some his and some very surprising covers before bringing out one last surprise guest Rose Sirintip… who’s voice is so clear and moving.

After which Ice brough out his 3 remaining guest in a medley of Chorb Kon Jaochoo (which was extermely painful to watch because of yard’s inability to even pretend to relax) I.See.U with Peak who improved greatly from the MV, and the fabulous Pei for Kon Jai Ngaai who put on the greatest performance of the 3 going all out and even giving Ice a bit of surprise on stage. the 5 girls, Kalamare Pei Pinky Yard and Peak then came out and did a cover performance of Wonder Girl’s Nobody.

Not to be outdone by the dance medley he open the concert with Ice came out in full force and got all of Indoor Stadium on their feet and dancing and banging their heads to a medley of songs that included covers from the old tata young to the likes of potato before ending his concert with an encore performance of Kon Jai Ngaai

all i have to say is that anyone who thought Ice was a great performer will still be amazed by this concert, i’ve seen him perform a million times and i’m still in awe of it….. after it was all over i seriously just wanted to rewind time and start it all over it was just so mind blowing at how simple the stage was how simple the concept was and yet everything seemed larger than life. everything flowed seemlessly from one part to the next and it was just so freaking amazing AMAZING AND AWESOME!!!

— for those interested in knowing more about the concert or seeing more pictures please feel free to visit Ice’s Fanclub Website or stay tune to my blog at Kon Mun Ruk Icewere I will post more pictures later on…. i havent even posted this on my own blog yet! thats how awesome darathai issss! woooo

LOL, you’re so funny with your “every sense of the word”…I bet he was awesome and can’t wait to see it
I’m dying to see his performance of Khon Nah Sohng Sahn, that’s my favorite ballad for him in his new album, especially since it is a totally different version, and I want to see him and his new dance moves.
You are so lucky…and I totally support you supporting Ice…when it comes to him, it is all worth it…The man deserves the support.
I heard normally he wouldn’t sing all his songs live, but I’m so happy and proud that he chose to…

“I heard normally he wouldn’t sing all his songs live, but I’m so happy and proud that he chose to…”

^^ i’m not sure where you heard that from but Ice sings live 99.9% of the time even when hes not feeling well. the only time he doesnt is like when they are recording a show (which is a norm for any singer) or if the situation requires that he doesnt.

it may confuse people because when ice sings live, his singing sounds exactly like his recordings which just goes to show how talented of a singer he is but i can guarantee you that ice does not lipsync and would in fact normally sing all his songs live :)
