Can You Love Jack N2MU?

So any fans of the group Nice 2 Meet U who were sad when Jack announced he was leaving to pursuit studies in the US… be sad no more! For Jack is now solo. …That’s such an RS thing to do. So many RS groups have split cause the members “want to study abroad,” but really they just end up going solo. Well, regardless, here’s Jack, promoting his first solo album entitled “Black Jack.” Cute name, I like it~ So I figured I might as well check out his first single, “Love Me If U Can.”

…Lame title, yes, but I must admit, the song itself is pretty catchy. Obviously geared to those interested in the Kpop genre, it’s got an obvious Korean pop feel to it, but Jack’s voice goes pretty nicely with it, the lyrics are pretty flirty and cute, and the choreography is niceeeeeee. I approve of the dancing, thumbs up. The only thing I really have a problem with is the music video. I like what they did to his hair, but his outfit…eeesh. Those gigantic padded shoulders, low-cut shirt, and high-water pants with bright white tennis shoes. Not digging the wardrobe. And then, while the MV was visually interesting with flashy effects and the like…what the heck was going on? Why was jack twitching on the floor in the beginning? Who is the girl? Was there supposed to be a storyline? I was completely lost.

But at least there’s nice dancing to watch.

All in all, I guess I have to admit it’s not bad, it’s better than I expected. And I have to be honest, it is a step up from Nice 2 Meet U for sure. I might have to check out his album once it’s released~
